Request from Redstone Land Development LLC for a rezoning request at parcel# 70-11-01-300-021 from Ag-1 to R-1.
Any persons interested in these matters may appear at such hearings in person or by agent or attorney. Written comments will be received at the Township Office until the night of the hearing. Absentee Ballot Information
Are you curious about absentee ballots?
Every registered Michigan voter has the right to vote an absentee ballot. They can submit their application by mail, online or in person at your local clerk’s office (at the township hall)! Once voters submit their application, they can track the mailing status of their ballot online at Michigan.gov/vote.
Voters who already received their absentee ballot should complete it, sign the envelope, and mail it in the envelope provided (postage needed) or hand-deliver it to the office or ballot drop box located outside of the township hall. Absentee ballots must be received by the voter’s local clerk’s office by 8pm on November 8 to be counted.
Voters can find their clerk’s office and drop box locations at Michigan.gov/vote. At the same site, eligible citizens can also register to vote or update their registration through October 24. Citizens can register to vote up to and on Election Day in person at their local clerk’s office, and they can request and submit an absentee ballot in the same visit.
In-person voting will be held at the township hall on Election Day, November 8 between 7am and 8pm.

A reminder from the Ottawa Co. Road Commission:
Election season means the arrival of political signs dotting the landscape across Ottawa County.
Per OCRC policy, political signs are not permitted within the road right-of-way. You’re free to place signs outside of this right of way area.
Political signs and other types of signs located in the right-of-way can cause problems for road workers and motorists.
While we do not actively go around removing signs, please note that we will take action if there are safety concerns, such as issues related to sight distance or general distraction of many signs in one location.
Townships and cities within Ottawa County may have more restrictive signage policies; therefore, we ask that you review each municipality’s regulations.
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has a separate policy governing the placement of signs on state highways (i.e. US-, I-, M-routes). For information pertaining to MDOT’s policy, please contact MDOT’s Grand Region office at (616) 451-3091 or visit www.michigan.gov/mdot
