Notice of Public Hearing – Port Sheldon Township Zoning Board of Appeals
Please take notice that a Public Hearing will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 5:30 pm at the Port Sheldon Township Hall located at 16201 Port Sheldon Street, West Olive, MI 49460. The public hearing is for the Port Sheldon Township Zoning Board of Appeals to hear and consider the following matters:
1. The request from James Browne for a variance from Section 4.10 (4) (D) of the Port Sheldon Township Zoning Ordinance. Parcel: 70-11-09-300-083 Address: 8317 Croswell Shore Trail, West Olive, MI 49460.
2. The request from Scott Swierenga for a variance from Section 10.04, 4.11 of the Port Sheldon Township Zoning Ordinance. Parcel: 70-11-11-100-017 Address: 15991 Croswell Street, West Olive, MI 49460.
Any person interested in these matters may appear at such hearings in person or by agent or attorney. Written comments will be received at the Township Office until the night of the hearing. Copies of the application and other documentation are on file at the township office for public inspection during regular business hours.
