Please note that Consumers Energy will host an informational meeting regarding its Deep Well Injection Project on July 15th at the Port Sheldon Township Hall Community Room. This engagement will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The meeting will begin with brief remarks at 6:00 p.m., followed by an open house-style session where attendees are encouraged to engage directly with project team members, ask questions, and review project information at their own pace.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the Deep Well Injection Project located across Lakeshore Drive from the current JH Campbell site. Additional Consumers Energy staff will be available to discuss related activities in the area, including electric reliability improvement projects.

As a reminder, the EPA will conduct its own public hearing for this project on July 23rd in Holland at the Midtown Center (96 W 15th Street), from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for general questions, followed by a formal public hearing from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
