NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PORT SHELDON TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION
Please take notice that a Public Hearing will be held at the Port Sheldon Township Hall, 16201 Port Sheldon Street, West Olive, Michigan, by the Port Sheldon Township Planning Commission on August 27, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. to hear and consider the following matter(s):
- Request from Isabel Moomey for a Special Land Use at 16779 Blair St., West Olive, MI, Parcel No. 70-11-22-151-003. This 2.03± acre parcel is zoned R-1, Residential. The applicant seeks special approval to operate a child care home group, utilizing the basement and a fenced play area in the yard, pursuant to Sections 6.03 and 18.09.
Any persons interested in these matters may appear at such hearings in person or by agent or attorney. Written comments will be received at the Township Office until the night of the hearing. Copies of the application and other documentation are on file at the township office for public inspection during regular business hours.
