WHY: Road Resurfacing
BACKGROUND: Beginning April 14, 2025, contractors for the Ottawa County Road Commission are tentatively scheduled to begin work on a resurfacing project on 152nd Ave. between Lakewood Blvd. and Port Sheldon St. in Park/Port Sheldon townships.
Work will consist of milling existing asphalt, adding a paved shoulder for a new road width of 26’ (Lakewood Blvd. to Butternut Dr.) and 24’ (Butternut Dr to Port Sheldon St.), resurfacing with 2 lifts of new asphalt, and gravel shoulder restoration.
All work is weather dependent, and dates can be subject to change.
TRAFFIC IMPACT: The road will remain open to through traffic, with traffic being maintained using temporary lane closures under flag control during work hours. Be prepared for possible delays when traveling through this area during project hours.
