The Port Sheldon Fire Department is a volunteer unit dedicated to promoting and protecting the safety and welfare of our community.
Constantly training and preparing for the worst while planning to minimize injury and property damage. We are all very grateful and proud to have them serve the Township.
The volunteer fire department consists of twenty-two volunteers, and 911 dispatching is based from the County Dispatch office in Hudsonville, MI. The Township also has a mutual aid agreement to provide or receive assistance from surrounding communities when needed.
